SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency said it is alarmed in regards to the superior amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to status sassa lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support stage created for sassa status check intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it sassa status check hard with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to help the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
